Seven young people have taken up the challenge to abstain from sex for 40 days. Arie Boomsma will help them with this experiment and give them assignments. He challenges them to discover new aspects of love, intimacy and relationship
- left: Eline is a stewardess. During her 40 days without sex she has a trip planned to the exotic Cancun. THE spot with gorgeous men. Will she be able to resist temptation? right: Twenty-four-year-old Eder is a rapper. His life as an artist makes him attractive to girls. He gladly takes advantage of this situation.
- left: David, as singer with a cover band, leads a rock-and-roll life of many one-night stands. He has decided to participate in ’40 days without sex” because he would like to have a girlfriend again. right: Sidney lets it all go every weekend. For him it is the norm to have sex after he goes out. But he feels less and less satisfied with this way of life. Can he let go of his old life-style?
- left: Maaike doesn’t trust men since the painful break-up of her last relationship. Now she uses guys purely for the sex. In the 40 days she will try to change this. right: Student Tom (21) is crazy about football, beer and sex. He only dares to pick up girls when he is drunk. He would gladly change this.
- left: Chantal (22) works as cloakroom attendant in a bar on the Leidseplein. During the day she follows a correspondence course in law and works at a swimming pool. For Chantal, sex is a life necessity. right: Arie Boomsma
